About Sara Sopinski

I’m Sara Sopinski, attorney at Sopinski Law, serving clients across Nebraska in criminal defense, estate planning, and elder law. I spent over a decade of my career as a prosecutor, handling cases from misdemeanors to serious felonies. I gained firsthand insight into how law enforcement builds cases and how prosecutors make decisions.

That courtroom and negotiation experience now fuels my work on the defense side, giving my clients a strategic advantage. I’ve handled thousands of cases over my career, and I understand both the legal and human sides of navigating a crisis.

In addition to criminal defense, I focus on helping individuals and families protect what matters most through tailored estate plans and elder law services. I completed advanced training in estate planning and stay active in professional organizations that keep me on the cutting edge of legal developments.

Here’s how I work with clients:

  1. We start with a conversation. You share what’s going on, and I’ll ask questions to understand the full picture.
  2. We make a plan. I explain your options, the risks, and the strategy I recommend.
  3. We move forward together. I take care of the legal strategy so you can focus on your life and your future.
